Police disclosed TUESDAY the identity of the victim of the homicide at STECKLINE COMMUNICATIONS' WICHITA building (NET NEWS 2/10). DANIEL FLORES, 25, an employee of the radio cluster, was found in the basement of the building on MONDAY morning with blunt-force injuries.
The WICHITA EAGLE reports that police Lt. TODD OJILE said that whoever murdered FLORES was targeting the business. "We believe this was not just a random act," Capt. BRENT ALLRED added, saying that the killer was after "someone or something at that business." OJILE said that the force had no leads on a suspect and no one in custody.
