Americana Music Association Board Concludes Annual Retreat.

Changing Of The Guard

During the recently held AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION annual meeting, the Board of Directors appointed a new Executive Committee: MARK MOFFATT has been named President; HOLLY LOWMAN will remain as Past-President; AMANDA HALE will serve as President-Elect; and LYNNE SHERIDAN will again serve as Secretary.  The two At Large Executive Committee members remain JOHN INGRASSIA and AL MOSS. Lastly, KURT VITOLO will continue in his role as Treasurer.

Further, The Board of Directors consists of 19 industry representatives elected by the AMERICANA MUSIC ASSOCIATION membership and/or appointed by the Board.  They include JOHN ALLEN, JONATHAN LEVINE, RODNEY CROWELL, BUDDY MILLER, MARY GAUTHIER, CARRIE COLLITON, SCOTT GOLDMAN, WAYNE LEELOY, CLIFF O’SULLIVAN, SHAUNA DE CARTIER, TIM FINK, JESSIE SCOTT, ASHLEY CAPPS and TERRY LICKONA.

The association’s annual AMERICANA FESTIVAL & CONFERENCE in NASHVILLE is slated for SEPTEMBER 17th-21st at a new host hotel, THE HUTTON HOTEL.
