ENTERCOM Active Rock WAAF/BOSTON MD/afternoon-drive host MISTRESS CARRIE has always shown strong love and support for our troops. But a documentary short by former EMERSON COLLEGE student STEVE MILO offers not only a look inside MISTRESS CARRIE's day-to-day activities, but her efforts to raise awareness of our troops both overseas and at home.
CARRIE has known MILO since he was in high school and when he approached her as his subject for a final in his Film Editing class, CARRIE at first was hesitant. "He wanted me to be the subject and I said yes, but wasn't sure what was so interesting that was worth making a documentary about," said CARRIE in her blog about the documentary.
Once CARRIE agreed, MILO was given total access to her personal life and work at WAAF. "I wouldn't have any input on the final edit; this was his project after all," said CARRIE. "I'm very proud to say that Steve got an A on his final, and graduated with the Class of 2013 from EMERSON COLLEGE."
The film is a powerful look at an air personality who really cares about her job, her city and especially the troops. For a look at CARRIE's blog and the documentary short, click HERE.
