Candidacy Takes Bill Post Off The Air At KYKN

BILL POST has come off the air at WILLAMETTE BROADCASTING Talk KYKN-A/KEIZER-SALEM, OR due to his candidacy for OREGON's House of Representatives.
The STATESMAN JOURNAL reports that POST, also the station PD, came off the air after primary opponent JESSE ALEXANDER complained that POST was violating election laws by remaining on the air; POST contends that he and GM MIKE FRITH were told by the FCC that the show could continue until an opponent requested equal access.
POST suspended his show on MONDAY, and ALEXANDER and another challenger, BARBARA JENSEN, plan to file complaints over the delay in suspending the show.
