In other filings with the FCC, CUMULUS LICENSING LLC has asked for an extension of its Silent STA for WTOD-A/HARTSVILLE, SC because it "no longer has authority to use its licensed transmitter site."

CHRISTIANRADIOBROADCASTING.ORG, INC. is requesting an extension of its Silent STA for WCRR/MANISTIQUE, MI after losing its main studio site.

LKCM RADIO LICENSES, L.P. has closed on the sale of Country KRVA-F/CAMPBELL, TX to THE WAY RADIO GROUP LLC for $120,000.

MARATHON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. has closed on the sale of noncommercial Variety KDKY (ROSITA RADIO)/MARATHON, TX to MARFA PUBLIC RADIO for $10.

OGILVIE FAMILY MINISTRIES, INC. has closed on the sale of WMRB-A/COLUMBIA, TN to REV. JOSE RODRIGUEZ's IGLESIA HISPANA DE NASHVILLE, INC. for $35,000.

CURTIS MEDIA's EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC has closed on the sale of FM translator W262BM/CHARLOTTE, NC from ISOTHERMAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE for $125,000

GREELEY BROADCASTING CORP. has closed on the sale of KLMI/ROCK RIVER, WY to WOLF CREEK RADIO BROADCASTING, LLC for $161,200.

And QUEST BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of Adult Standards KBMO-A (STANDARD GOLD) and Classic Hits KSCR-F/BENSON, MN to HEADWATERS MEDIA, LLC for $275,000.

Also, the license of WPLY-A/MOUNT POCONO, PA has been cancelled by the FCC for failure to respond to a letter from the Commission requesting written clarification of the station's operating status.  The station, licensed to NASSAU BROADCASTING, II, LLC, had been silent for over a year.

And in CANADA, the CRTC has approved NEWCAP's purchase of Adult Hits CHBM (BOOM 97.3) and Top 40/Rhythmic CFXJ (93.5 FLOW)/TORONTO and Hot AC CKZZ (VIRGIN RADIO 95.3), Triple A CHHR (SHORE 104.3), and Adult Standards CISL-A/VANCOUVER for C$112 million (revised value of the transaction after adjustments for allocation of working capital C$125,970,603).
