The NAB EDUCATION FOUNDATION has announced its 2014 SERVICE TO AMERICA AWARD winners, to be honored at a Celebration of Service to America dinner on JUNE 17th in WASHINGTON.

NABEF President MARCELLUS ALEXANDER said, "The winners of this year's SERVICE TO AMERICA AWARDS are a testament to local broadcasters' unyielding commitment to public service.  These stations signify a truly unique value and positive impact as they weave themselves into the fabric of the communities they serve."

Winners include:

• Television Award: GANNETT NBC affiliate KUSA-TV/DENVER
• Service to Children Awards: Radio: LEWANEE BROADCASTING CO. AC WLEN/ADRIAN, MI;
• Television: CALIFORNIA OREGON BROADCASTING INC. NBC affiliate KOBI-TV/MEDFORD, OR
• Service to Community Awards: Radio: HUBBARD AC KSTP-F (KS95)/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS; Television: HEARST ABC Affiliate WCVB-TV/BOSTON
• GENERAL MOTORS and the GENERAL MOTORS FOUNDATION will be honored with the Corporate Leadership Award.
