Numerous sources are reporting webcaster SPOTIFY and SPRINT will partner to bundle the music service with some of the carriers plans. The official announcement is expected to happen at an event in NEW YORK on APRIL 29th.
Rumors of the deal were initially reported by RE/CODE, which writes "a planned tie-up between the two companies, similar to one already under way with AT&T and BEATS MUSIC, will feature free SPOTIFY trials for SPRINT customers and will give them the ability to pay for the service using the carrier’s billing system, according to people familiar with the plan. Some SPRINT customers may also qualify for discounts on SPOTIFY’s premium service, which costs $9.99 a month."
