A dispute over equal time at WILLAMETTE BROADCASTING Talk KYKN-A/KEIZER-SALEM, OR due to host BILL POST's candidacy for OREGON's House of Representatives has been settled by giving his opponent BARBARA JENSEN 566 minutes of airtime, reports the STATESMAN JOURNAL.
JENSEN will be hosting three upcoming one-hour roundtable discussions on APRIL 29th and 30th and MAY 1st.
POST, the station's PD, initially stayed on the air after declaring his candidacy in DECEMBER, and he and GM MIKE FRITH contended that the FCC told them he could do so until a challenged filed a letter requesting equal access. POST came off the air in MARCH.
