WNSW/New York Sold To Starboard Media Foundation

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, STARBOARD MEDIA FOUNDATION is buying Spanish Religion WNSW-A (RADIO CANTICO NUEVO)/NEWARK-NEW YORK from MULTICULTURAL BROADCASTING for $10.1 million.  MICHAEL J. BERGNER of BERGNER AND CO. served as exclusive broker in the transaction.  

In filings with the FCC, the price for WILLIAM HICKS’ BRYAN BROADCASTING LICENSE CORPORATION's purchase of the construction permit for KKEE/WHEELOCK, TX from KATHERINE PYEATT is $375,000 ($25,000 cash, $350,000 in a promissory note), according to the contract filed with the FCC.  The deal was announced and reported YESTERDAY (NET NEWS 4/24) but a price was not disclosed at the time.

SAM-SNO EDUCATIONAL MEDIA is selling K263BE/ABERDEEN, WA to JODESHA BROADCASTING, INC. for $1.

WAY MEDIA, INC. is selling W251BG/TARRANT, AL to VALLEYDALE BROADCASTING, LLC for $35,000 in a promissory note.  The translator rebroadcasts Urban Inspirational WAGG-A/BIRMINGHAM.

JOSE ANTONIO AGUILAR has requested an extension of his Silent STA for KEWP/UVALDE ESTATES, TX because of an inability to staff the station on a full-time basis.

WORD BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. is selling Religion WKQA-A (formerly WYRM-A)/NORFOLK, VA to BOOTH - COBB MEDIA, LLC for $400,000 ($300,000 cash, $100,000 in a note) plus a time brokerage agreement before closing (that began on JANUARY 1st).

STARBOARD MEDIA FOUNDATION, INC. has closed on the sale of W249CS/BOWLING GREEN, KY and W277CK/MADISONVILLE, KY to CHARLES M. ANDERSON for $10,000 plus up to $2,000 in legal fees.

And DAVIDSON MEDIA STATION WTSZ LICENSEE, LLC has closed on the sale of Sports WTUV-F (ESPN 680, simulcasting the buyer's WHBE-A)/EMINENCE-LOUISVILLE, KY to UB LOUISVILLE, LLC for $325,000.
