Get well wishes go out to longtime NEW YORK traffic reporter JOE NOLAN as he recovers from a heart attack suffered at his NEW JERSEY home this weekend.
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS' DAVID HINCKLEY reports that NOLAN called in to SCOTT SHANNON's show on CBS RADIO Classic Hits WCBS-F/NEW YORK this morning to say that he'd felt chest and back pains while working in his yard SUNDAY and ended up in the hospital. After surgery to relieve a 100% artery blockage, NOLAN is recovering, with further tests scheduled and no timetable for his return to work.
NOLAN moved with SHANNON to WCBS-F this year after doing the traffic on SHANNON's show with TODD PETTENGILL at crosstown CUMULUS Hot AC WPLJ for several years.
