FCC Proposes Fine Against New Jersey AM

The FCC has proposed a $6,000 fine against REAL LIFE BROADCASTING for failure to power down to night power levels at Religion WIFI-A (VICTORY 1460)/FLORENCE, NJ. The station had previously been fined $18,400 in 2009 for EAS, public file, tower enclosure, and power level violations.
Agents observed the station failing to reduce power from its 5.25 kw daytime level to its 540 watt night power authorization on JUNE 6th and 7th, 2012, and, at a subsequent inspection, determined that a computer controlling the power levels was programmed with the wrong time for the changeover.
