Condolences to family and friends of former SOUND COMMUNICATIONS station owner ROBERT DODENHOFF, who died MONDAY (5/26) in ISLE OF PALMS, SC after a battle with cancer at 57, according to the CHARLESTON POST AND COURIER.
DODENHOFF was a partner with DANIEL WACHS in SOUND COMMUNICATIONS, which owned stations including WKLX/ROCHESTER and WOMP-A-F/BELLAIRE, OH, and SOUND BROADCASTING, which owned KTJC/RAYVILLE, LA, KMYY and KYEA/WEST MONROE-MONROE, LA, and KCTO-A/COLUMBIA, LA. He later created INTERNATIONAL WIRELESS, which applied for wireless licenses in ARGENTINA, and settled in CHARLESTON, SC, where he operated a seafood business, DNA testing service, and drug testing business, and wrote the book "THE MAN TEST."
