ALL ACCESS sends thoughts and prayers out to Country Radio Hall of Famer LEE ROGERS, who apparently suffered a serious stroke last week and has been placed into hospice care in SANDY, OR.
ROGERS’ 40-year career in radio included time at Country KMPS/SEATTLE, KEEY/MINNEAPOLIS and WQIK/JACKSONVILLE. His last stop was KUPL/PORTLAND, where he served 15 years as OM, PD and morning personality.
A 2011 Hall of Fame inductee, ROGERS retired to SURPRISE, AZ in 2009 and suffered the first of a series of strokes shortly afterwards; he had recently relocated to OREGON.
