WHO's Simon Conway Back For 3rd Year Broadcasting From Battleship USS Iowa In L.A.

For the third year, CLEAR CHANNEL News-Talk WHO-A/DES MOINES afternoon host SIMON CONWAY is doing his show live from the deck of the battleship USS IOWA in the PORT OF LOS ANGELES in SAN PEDRO, CA.

The ship is now docked as a museum at the port; WHO was instrumental in saving the ship, the last lead ship of any class of U.S. battleships and the lead ship during WORLD WAR II.  Decommissioned in 1958, reactivated in 1982, and damaged by a 1989 turret explosion, the ship moved to SAN PEDRO in 2012 and opened as a museum that year.
