FCC's Robert Weller Joining FCC As VP Of Spectrum Policy

FCC Chief of Technical Analysis ROBERT WELLER is joining the NAB as VP/Spectrum Policy, effective JULY 28th. WELLER, who has led the FCC spectrum policy efforts since 2008 and worked at the NAB in 1984-93 and 2007-present with a stint at HAMMETT AND EDISON in between, will report to NAB EVP/Strategic Planning RICK KAPLAN.
NAB Pres./CEO GORDON SMITH said, "NAB is excited to add someone of BOB's caliber to our spectrum policy staff. His expertise regarding broadcast spectrum issues and his knowledge of regulatory policy will be valuable resources as the Commission moves forward on proceedings affecting broadcasting's future."
