Some substantial changes at CCM+E as announced by President/National Programming Platforms TOM POLEMAN, who released the following staff memo:
"MARC CHASE has joined NPP as VP/Strategic Services, Marketing & Innovation. MARC comes to us from NUVOODOO (via MERLIN). Many of you know MARC from his previous days at CLEAR CHANNEL as a very successful programmer, SVPP, and contributor to many successful internal initiatives. MARC reports to NPP/Strategic Services SVP GREG STRASSELL and joins our world class organization of programming and research talent at NPP.
"DARREN PFEFFER has been promoted to SVP/Music & Entertainment Marketing. DARREN has done incredible work in both conceiving and executing world-class events for our company that ultimately drive ratings and revenue. He'll continue to be responsible for all company-wide promotions and events, such as the iHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVAL, the iHEARTRADIO JINGLE BALL TOUR and the iHEARTRADIO COUNTRY FESTIVAL, which have been an increasingly large part of our business. DARREN started with our company in 1995 as an intern at Z100 and has risen through the ranks to his current position.
"MARISSA MORRIS has been elevated to VP/Artist Relations. MARISSA has been instrumental in transforming CLEAR CHANNEL's relationship with the music industry. She has helped pioneer our artist development programs (e.g., AIPs, World Premieres, On The Verge), created endless artist driven sales solutions and run point on booking our tent-pole events. MARISSA is a rising star in CCME with a proven track record, and will play a vital role in helping us continue to grow our music industry relationships.
"ADELLYN POLOMSKI has been named Dir./Artist Relations & Programs. ADELLYN has established herself as one of the most influential people in the EDM space, and she's been instrumental in developing our Evolution brand and other EDM initiatives. She also knows the broadcast radio space inside and out, producing live broadcast for events like the iHEARTRADIO LIVE series and the iHEARTRADIO ULTIMATE POOL PARTY. In her new role, ADELLYN will continue to produce select broadcasts and be our lead on EDM initiatives, but she'll also work on a broader scope of artist programs for the company. ADELLYN will report to MARISSA MORRIS.
"In addition, ZENA BURNS has decided to pursue other interests. While we hate to see her go, she's leaving us on an incredible high note with our best numbers ever in both digital content and social engagement around events. ZENA has been a digital pioneer for radio, as the very first "Digital Program Director" in the entire industry -- a role we since spread throughout CCME, with other companies following the model. She conceived and executed social strategies around all major events, leading to consistently record-breaking numbers, where impressions in the billions became the norm. ZENA has also been instrumental in connecting the dots between partners, labels, programming and sales. Her contributions have been many and she will be missed."
ALL ACCESS caught up with ZENA, who leaves her role as NPP SVP/Programming Partners with a major smile, saying, "After almost eight amazing years here, it's time to take a break for a while. All I can say is that this has been an amazing time in my career that I will never forget."
