SELBY GOSPEL BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling Religion KNOF (PRAISE FM)/ST. PAUL to PRAISE BROADCASTING for $5 million.
In other filings with the FCC, CHRISTOPHER FALLETTI is selling the construction permits for new FMs at WAKEENEY, KS and CHEYENNE and COVINGTON, OK to ONE MEDIA, INC. for $85,000. ONE MEDIA, INC. is also buying KSHQ/DEERFIELD, MO, KRDR/ALVA, OK, and construction permits for new FMs at ALTHEIMER, AR and (two at) PINE BLUFF, AR from PATRICK PARKER for $120,000.
EKO MEDIA GROUP, INC. has requested a Silent STA for WRJE-A/DOVER, DE, telling the Commission that the station "has been silent since JANUARY 14, 2014, when the power company disconnected the power at the stations transmitter site because the site owner had not paid the power bills for several months. Subsequently the landlord also took down the single tower at the site from which WRJE had been broadcasting pursuant to special temporary authority. EKO is actively searching for a suitable site from which WRJE can operate on a permanent basis."
IMPERIAL BROADCASTING COMPANY, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for WHLQ/LAWRENCEVILLE, VA while the licensee changes equipment and programming on the station.
And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has closed on the sale of KQGC/BELEN, NM to THE ASSOCIATION FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION, INC. for $1. The station serves as a satellite of the buyer's noncommercial Spanish Religion KMRO (RADIO NUEVA VIDA)/CAMARILLO, CA, the programming of which it has been airing since NOVEMBER 2010.
