After 10 Years Pending, Sacred Heart U. Withdraws Appeal In Allocation Case

The FCC has accepted SACRED HEART UNIVERSITY's withdrawal of its Application for Review of the Commission's denial of its counterproposal for reallocating an FM channel at WATER MILL and NOYACK, NY.
The Commission originally proposed adding Channel 277A at WATER MILL, and SHU proposed making that allocation either Channel 233A to protect its W277AB/NOYACK, or making it a reserved allocation for Channel 277A at NOYACK and moving its noncommercial WSUF/NOYACK to that frequency. After the Commission allotted 233A at WATER MILL, it deleted that allotment and dismissed the counterproposal as well; SHU withdrew its appeal because of changed circumstances over the ten years the case has been pending.
