Elvis Only Has Left The Building

The UNITED STATIONS syndicated ELVIS ONLY show has ended it's long run.
Host JAY GORDON posted on the show's website, "Hi, it’s JAY GORDON, and, I’ve recently retired, after 26 years of hosting and producing our weekly hour of ELVIS PRESLEY music and memories. In 1988, I was a BOSTON radio DJ, 23 years old, who just happened to be a diehard ELVIS PRESLEY fan. Suddenly, due to a combinaton of lucky timing and the vision of a few exceptional, forward-thinking broadcasting Owners, General Managers and Program Directors, I soon found myself in a position to help keep ELVIS PRESLEY’s musical legacy alive, on many of AMERICA’s most-listened-to radio stations.
"It was a dream-come true for me, and I’ve never forgotten how lucky I was. Now, in 2014, it’s time to move on. I want to personally thank our thousands of weekly listeners. You get up early, and stay up late to hear us. Many of you record the program, and have collections of hundreds of shows. You have no idea what that means to me. But, know this; I began 'ELVIS ONLY' as just a fan. And, that’s where I cross the finish line. Thankyouverymuch... JAY."
