Prices Revealed For Alpha-Buckley/Bakersfield-Merced, Journal-Envision/Wichita Deals

The price for ALPHA MEDIA's purchase of Top 40 KLLY (KELLY 95.3)/OILDALE-BAKERSFIELD, News-Talk simulcast KNZR-A/BAKERSFIELD-KNZR-F/SHAFTER, CA, Rhythmic Oldies KKBB (GROOVE 99.3)/BAKERSFIELD, Top 40/Rhythmic KHTN (HOT 104.7)/PLANADA-MERCED, CA, and Country KUBB/MARIPOSA-MERCED, CA from BUCKLEY BROADCASTING is $5.8 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC. The dollar amount was not disclosed in the original announcement of the deal.
The previously-undisclosed price for JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP's spin-off sale of Classic Country KFTI (CLASSIC COUNTRY 92.3)/NEWTON-WICHITA, KS to ENVISION BROADCAST NETWORK, LLC is $1.55 million. The price appears in the contract filed with the formal paperwork at the FCC.
UNITED AUDIO CORP. is selling Easy Listening KNXR/ROCHESTER, MN to GREG JENSEN's HOMETOWN BROADCASTING OF ROCHESTER, INC. for $1.1 million if the buyer acquires the seller's interest in SILVER CREEK TALL TOWERS ASSOCIATES or $714,910 if the buyer opts not to buy the interest in the tower company and instead negotiates a lease for space on the tower.
CUMULUS MEDIA's RADIO LICENSE HOLDING CBC, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for WARM-A/SCRANTON due to transmitter failure.

FAHNOE is a member of the BUCKLEY family that owns BUCKLEY BROADCASTING (nephew of the late RICK BUCKLEY, grandson of founder RICHARD DIMES BUCKLEY).
