On TUESDAY (10/21), CAPITOL RECORDS declared it "NEIL F**CKIN' DIAMOND DAY" in honor of the release of NEIL DIAMOND's new album "Melody Road."
The ... um, very creative human billboard promotion and marketing campaign encouraged NEIL DIAMOND fans to post pictures on social media wearing their "NEIL F**CKIN' DIAMOND" T-shirts to announce the street date of his new album.
As you might guess, the campaign went viral in a matter of hours receiving posts from many radio folks and celebrities including, but not limited to:
The iHEARTMEDIA team (including TOM POLEMAN), CUMULUS MEDIA's SVP/Programming MIKE McVAY, KALC/DENVER APD/MD SAM HILL, KIMN/DENVER PD BO JAXON, QUESTLOVE, the staff of THE TONIGHT SHOW with JIMMY FALLON, CAPITOL MUSIC GROUP, and more!
