SIRIUSXM NBA RADIO is bringing its "YEAR ONE" show back to follow another NBA rookie, this year naming ORLANDO MAGIC first-round draft pick AARON GORDON as host of the weekly show. GORDON, the forward drafted from the UNIV. OF ARIZONA, will be heard weekly alongside co-host JUSTIN TERMINE at 6p (ET) THURSDAYS starting TOMORROW (10/30). Last year's edition was hosted by PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS guard C.J. MCCOLLUM.
GORDON said, “Hosting my own SIRIUSXM show is an honor and something that makes my first NBA season even more special. This year will be full of a lot of firsts and I can’t wait to give the fans a behind-the-scenes look at my new world both on and off the court. I have some pretty high goals set for myself and my team this year and I’m excited to take the listeners along for the ride.”
SIRIUSXM SVP/Sports Programming STEVE COHEN added, “Last season on YEAR ONE, C.J. gave us extraordinary insight into the life of a first-year NBA player and we’re very excited to feature AARON on the show this year. AARON is one of the league’s bright young stars and it will be enlightening to hear him talk about his experiences – the challenges, the triumphs and emotions of his first season in the league.”
