The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION and the CMA FOUNDATION have partnered with CHEVROLET and NOTES FOR NOTES to help construct music studios in BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB facilities across the country.
"The CMA FOUNDATION is beyond excited to launch our first multi-city investment with the NOTES FOR NOTES organization," stated CMA FOUNDATION Board of Directors chair JOE GALANTE. "Just as we did, CHEVY saw a tremendous opportunity to support an organization making a difference in their hometown through music education."
The CMA FOUNDATION has donated a total of $20,000 to the NASHVILLE chapter of NOTES FOR NOTES in 2014 and has committed an additional $375,000 to expand the program to chapters in ATLANTA, AUSTIN, BROOKLYN, DETROIT, and SAN FRANCISCO in 2015. NOTES FOR NOTES is dedicated to providing youth with free access to music education and musical instruments in a professional recording studio environment. The organization builds, equips, and staffs after-school studios where young people can explore, create, and record music free of charge.
