KBKS' Bender Honored By Children's Miracle Network

iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS-FM)/SEATTLE morning host BENDER was named the 2014 ENGLISH RADIO PERSON OF THE YEAR by CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK and their hospitals. BENDER was awarded the honor last week at CMN's annual Momentum/Celebration ceremony in ORLANDO, FL.
"BENDER is a force to be reckoned with for the good and we love that," CMN Pres./CEO JOHN LAUCK said. "This award not only reflects the great work in the last year, but the years of support that BENDER's put behind Radiothon for SEATTLE CHILDREN's."
BENDER has been the host and driving force behind KISS-FM's One Big KISS Radiothon, an annual event that has raised nearly $13 million dollars since 2002.
