Prince Is Now Off Social Media

PRINCE, always a prickly individual when it comes to sharing his music online, has deleted both his TWITTER and FACEBOOK accounts, and pulled his music from YOUTUBE, according to a report in BRITAIN's NEW MUSICAL EXPRESS.
PRINCE first joined TWITTER last summer and signed up for FACEBOOK to conduct a Q&A session with fans that ended after he answered but a single question.
PRINCE's VEVO account includes just three clips, including the "Breakfast Can Wait" video from one of his two new albums, a behind-the-scenes piece on the making of that video and a short interview.
No reason was given for PRINCE’s abandonment of social media, but it comes in the wake of IRVING AZOFF pulling several of his artists' music off YOUTUBE, TAYLOR SWIFT taking her music off SPOTIFY amd GARTH BROOKS criticism of YOUTUBE's royalty payouts.
