December 17, 2014 at 9:28 AM (PT)
ISLE OF LIGHT, the first festival of its kind to take place in the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and now in its second year, announced this year's lineup, including headlining electro-funk duo CHROMEO and L.A. indie-rock band WARPAINT. International acts SOUL CLAP, WHOMADEWHO and WALKING SHAPES will join local acts TANGOWHISKYMAN and AURO SONICO for the one-day festival on MARCH 7th.
ISLE OF LIGHT is hosted in SANTO DOMINGO's historic "Old Colonial Zone" under the landmark harbor light house, transforming the RIO OZAMA shoreline into a world-class festival experience in one of the CARIBBEAN's most beautiful cities. Last year's fest featured TWIN SHADOW, THE JUAN MACLEAN, POMPEYA and LEGOWELL playing to over 3000 fans. ISLE OF LIGHT was started by NO SHAME RECORDS founder MARCO VICINI and LUIS BETANCES from the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC along with PHIL HOELTING and MORGAN LEBUS from the STATES.
