Country music star MARTINA McBRIDE sat down with "Today Show" correspondent JENNA BUSH HAGER at the singer's NASHVILLE home to reveal she has signed a new record deal with NASH ICON MUSIC for her next album.
In the midst of talking family traditions, favorite CHRISTMAS classics and what treats the family leave for SANTA (Dr. Pepper and cookies), MARTINA talked about her new label, a joint venture between the BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP and the CUMULUS radio chain which adds her to a roster that also includes recently inked REBA McENTIRE
Ever the consummate hostess, MARTINA moved the conversation into the kitchen for some Triple Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies and Cranberry Margarita Martinis from the “Mistletoe and Martinis” chapter of her new book "Around the Table" from WILLIAM MORROW and HARPERCOLLINS PUBLISHING.
McBRIDE made history with her most recent album "Everlasting" as the first solo female artist to debut at #1 on the Top Country Albums chart with an independently released and distributed album in the chart's 50-year history. The project also marked her fifth chart-topping debut.
