  TRIBUNE News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO has cancelled the long-running weekend show 'Sports Central,' reports CHICAGO RADIO AND MEDIA. The website notes this SUNDAY afternoon's program is the final airing of the show.
  
  CRM writes, "Sports Central started as a weekend sports talk show in the SPRING of 1982. There also was a popular weeknight version of 'Sports Central' for well over 20 years. The original hosts of the program were JACK BRICKHOUSE and CHUCK SWIRSKY. It is ... or after today, was ... the longest running sports talk show in CHICAGO radio."
