AC/DC, Jack White And Drake To Headline 2015 Coachella

Coachella 2015 Lineup Announced

The new year is officially underway as the COACHELLA MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL announced that AC/DC, JACK WHITE and DRAKE are the FRIDAY, SATURDAY and SUNDAY night headliners, respectively, for the two-weekend affair, set for APRIL 10th, 11th and 12th, then again on the 17th, 18th and 19th.  This is the 16th iteration of the successful GOLDENVOICE promotion in INDIO, CA.

The FRIDAY night lineup's second-largest font is devoted to TAME IMPALA, INTERPOL, STEELY DAN, ALESSO, ALABAMA SHAKES and NERO. The next tier includes AZEALIA BANKS, FLYING LOTUS, RAEKWON and GHOSTFACE KILLAH, LYKKE LI, DJ SNAKE, PORTER ROBINSON and CARIBOU. Other scheduled acts include TODD TERJE & THE OLSENS, ANGUS & JULIA STONE, HOT NATUREL, GEORGE EZRA, SQUAREPUSHER, KIESZA and ACTION BRONSON.

SATURDAY night's second-tier acts include THE WEEKND, AXWELL ^ INGROSSO, ALT-J, BELLE & SEBASTIAN, RAT A TAT and HOZIER, with FLOSSTRADAMUS, BAD RELIGION, SBTRKT, FKA TWIGS, TYLER THE CREATOR, FATHER JOHN MISTY, WAR ON DRUGS and DEORRO on the next tier. Among the other acts: RUN THE JEWELS, CHET FAKER, KASABIAN, DRIVE LIKE JEHU, SWANS, MILKY CHANCE, TORO Y MOI, JUNGLE, PARQUET COURTS, PERFUME GENIUS and NEW WORLD PUNX.

SUNDAY's acts include FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, KASKADE, RYAN ADAMS, DAVID GUETTA and ST. VINCENT. Next up are MARTINA & THE DIAMONDS, FITZ & THE TANTRUMS, BRAND NEW, MADEON, STROMAE, KYGO, ODESZA, GESAFFELSTEIN and RAC. Also on the bill: CIRCA SURVIVE, JENNY LEWIS, DESAPARECIDOS, JAMIE XX, BUILT TO SPILL, MARTIN SOLVEIG, LIL B, MARTIN SOLVEIG, MAC DeMARCO, VAINCE JOY, DUKE DUMONT, SLOAN, THE ORWELLS, CHARLES BRADLEY and RADIOHEAD's PHILIP SELWAY.

Last year, COACHELLA's two weekends brought in $78.3 million, up from $67.2 millioin in 2013, according to BILLBOARD.  A three-day pass starts at $375,with a shuttle combo available for $435, though general admission wristbands are all sold out. A VIP wristband is $899, with parking at $150 sold separately.
