iHEARTMEDIA Progressive Talker WXXM (92.1 THE MIX)/MADISON, WI., has added TNMNews (THE NATIONAL MARIJUANA NEWS), the "unbiased marijuana talk radio program from DIGIPATH, INC. The progressive talk radio station is the first terrestrial radio station in the country to embrace TNMNews, which serves a rapidly growing niche market.
"TNMNews is a natural fit in our lineup," said WXXM Operations Mgr./PD TIM SCOTT. "This topic has become part of the national conversation, and we are proud to be on the forefront in journalism."
Soft-launched in JUNE 2014, TNMNews is AMERICA's "unbiased" cannabis news program that helps educate and raise awareness of cannabis-related issues and features engaging, and often provocative, interviews with cannabis-industry and thought leaders.
TNMNews has amassed a rapidly growing audience of loyal listeners, who launched a record 190,000 audio streams last DECEMBER. Until recently, however, TNMNews was only aired over the Internet. Now listeners in MADISON can catch TNMNews on weekends on FM radio at WXXM (92.1 FM) and at the HD radio subchannel of WKKV–FM (100.7 HD3).
"We offer the public reliable, unbiased information on marijuana that is sorely lacking in the media today," said TNM President TODD DENKIN. "We believe WXXM's listeners will appreciate the open dialogue we're working to create and know that other terrestrial stations will soon follow suit."
DENKIN is a dynamic speaker who is called upon by the media for his expert opinions on the cannabis industry, media, ethics, and politics. To inquire about an interview or quote, please call (800) 549-0859.
