CPB Study Shows Public Radio Revenue Growth Outpacing Public TV's

The CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING has released an analysis of public broadcasting revenue, showing total revenue for public radio rising 48% from 2012 to 2013 to $1.13 billion, outpacing public television, which rose 0.3% to $1.7 billion.
The biggest share of the revenue pie came from subscribers (35.1% of the total, up 3.2% to $397 million), followed by business (19% of the total, up 5.4% to $215.6 million).
The number of contributors rose slightly from 2.845 million to 2.853 million and the amount per person also rose slightly.
