WESTWOOD ONE is extending its partnership with CNBC Business Radio to include expanded content with the addition of a second hourly business report. Due to marketplace demand, WESTWOOD ONE is now offering two hourly reports to stations at both :20 and :50 past the hour, with re-feeds at :25 and :55 past the hour, from CNBC. CNBC Business Reports currently air on more than 140 stations nationwide.
Nine of the top 10 DMA markets and 22 of the top 25 are taking CNBC business reports, which has been bolstered by the addition of top-market CUMULUS stations, including WLS-A/CHICAGO, WMAL/WASHINGTON and KCMO/KANSAS CITY.
“WESTWOOD ONE is delighted to expand the content that we offer affiliates in the business space," WESTWOOD ONE SVP/Affiliate Sales DENNIS GREEN said. "CNBC is the best-in-class brand that listeners have grown to trust for many years and it’s evident by the number of new stations that are signing up.”
“We are thrilled to be able to broaden our partnership with WESTWOOD ONE,” CNBC BUSINESS NEWS SVP/Editor-in-Chief NIKHIL DEOGUN said. “This will allow CNBC to bring its unparalleled global business content and insight to new audiences across the country. In these volatile times, listeners need to know what’s happening with their money during the market day.”
