Renowned radio personality STEVE HARVEY will launch his first-ever “ACT LIKE A SUCCESS CONFERENCE” on MARCH 6th-8th at the HYATT REGENCY in RESTON, VA. The three-day event based on the EMMY-winning TV host's latest book, “Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success,” will offer attendees the opportunity to obtain the tools, strategies, motivation and insights to accelerate success and make big dreams a reality.
“I firmly believe that each and every one of us is born with a gift -- a gift that allows one to live a life of joy, peace and prosperity. The challenge that we all face is to identify that gift, learn how to cultivate that gift, and then use that gift to create personal success,” said HARVEY. The ACT LIKE A SUCCESS conference was created to help people do that. I’m on a mission of empowering, educating, inspiring and motivating everyone to create success in every area of their lives.”
In addition to HARVEY, additional keynote sessions will include such noted speakers as LISA NICHOLS, DR. LAURA BERMAN, DOREEN RAINEY, PATRICE WASHINGTON, HEATHER THOMSON and PAUL C. BRUNSON, who will share their experiences, successes, failures, and life lessons to give practical information to leave participants with ideas and tools to put into action immediately.
The breakout sessions provide the opportunity to choose the topics most relevant to one’s own life. Led by experts in their field, each session will be packed with techniques and "how-to’s" that one can implement into their lives, businesses, careers or finances – now.
“As we know from our recent national survey on success, having a strong network and support system is critical for achieving goals and attaining success,” said Dr. MICHAEL PLATER, President of STRAYER UNIVERSITY, the inaugural event's sponsor. “For this reason, we are pleased to help bring STEVE HARVEY’s ‘principles of success’ to life via the ACT LIKE A SUCCESS CONFERENCE.' The CONFERENCE will bring professionals and individuals from all backgrounds together in a lively, engaging forum to discuss optimizing their skills and talents at home, and in their careers. This is especially important for working adult students, who balance multiple priorities and build support networks on their path to success.”
