RAB: July Radio Ad Revenues Off 1%

The RAB's JULY 2006 radio revenue numbers show overall ad sales off 1% year-to-year due to a 2% drop in local revnue partially offset by a 5% rise in national revenue. Non-spot revenue was up 12%, and total spot and non-spot revenue remained flat.
Year-to-date ad sales are off 1%, with national up 1% and local down 1%. Non-spot revenue rose 9% for the year so far, with total combined spot and non-spot dollars flat.
