WJPZ Alumni Assn. Birthday Banquet Set

The WJPZ ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, which unites alumni of the SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY student-operated Top 40 station, will hold its “30TH ANNUAL BIRTHDAY BANQUET” on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28th at the SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY SHERATON. Nearly 100 alumni and students will attend the evening celebration, which marks the 30th year of WJPZ on the FM band.

iHEARTMEDIA SVP/Programming JON ZELLNER will deliver the keynote address, and CUMULUS AC WWLI (LITE ROCK 105)/PROVIDENCE morning host STEPHEN DONOVAN will emcee the event. Additionally, ENTERCOM/BOSTON Chief Engineer ERIC FITCH and WRC-TV and NBC-TV/WASHINGTON, DC Investigative Reporter SCOTT MACFARLANE will be inducted into the seventh class of the WJPZ HALL OF FAME.

“WJPZ is billed as the greatest media classroom and with good reason: the scores of talented individuals who have graced its halls is simply unparalleled," said WJPZ ALUMNI ASSOCIATION President JOSH WOLFF. "Once again, this weekend unites students, alumni, and leaders in the industry to celebrate the past, present, and future of WJPZ.”
