Futuri Receives Patent For Listener Driven Radio, Instant Alert Technology

FUTURI has received a patent for LISTENER DRIVEN RADIO and INSTANT ALERT technology. The company, the former LDR INTERACTIVE, was granted U.S. Patent No. 8,874,026, covering the LDR system and its Instant Alert method of sending email, SMS, and tweets to alert listeners of a favorite song before it airs. FUTURI CEO DANIEL ANSTANDIG and CTO BRIAN SEEDERS are named as inventors on the patent.
ANSTANDIG said, “FUTURI has invested a significant amount in R&D related to interactive broadcasting as well as social and mobile technology for local broadcasters. The issuance of this patent is a milestone for our company and our many innovative broadcast partners, who have used this and our other technologies to drive ratings and revenue since the company’s launch in 2009."
