Radiothons Raise $2.2 Million For Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Thanks to generous community support, five recent RADIOTHONS raised a total of $2,224,282 for local CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS. Donations will stay in the area to fund critical equipment, services, research and charitable care that saves and improves the lives of local kids.
The five stations involved include:
GULF SOUTH COMMUNICATIONS Country WTVY (95.5)/BIRMINGHAM, which raised $133,727 for CHILDREN'S OF ALABAMA.
iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KHKX (106.1 KISS FM)/ODESSA-MIDLAND, TX, which raised $146,400 for MEDICAL CENTER HEALTH SYSTEM FOUNDATION.
ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 KALC (ALICE 105.9)/DENVER, which raised $1,680,000 for CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL COLORADO.
TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Smooth AC KXLT (107.9 LITE FM)/BOISE, which raised $18,655 for ST. LUKE'S CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.
iHEARTMEDIA Hot AC WDVI (THE DRIVE)/ROCHESTER and News sister WHAM, which raised $245,500 for GOLISANO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL at the UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER MEDICAL CENTER.
The RADIOTHON program has been an integral part of CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS' fundraising efforts since 1998. More than 300 stations participate in RADIOTHONS annually, raising about $50 million each year. CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS RADIOTHONS have raised more than $500 million in support of 170 children¹s hospitals across NORTH AMERICA.
