Congress Passes FCC Report Streamlining Bill Again

Congress passed the bill that would streamline FCC reporting to the House on TUESDAY (2/24). The FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Consolidated Reporting Act (HR 734) passed by a 411-0 vote with 21 no-votes; 236 Republicans and 175 Democrats voted in favor of the bill, introduced by Reps. STEVE SCALISE (R-LA), ANNA ESHOO (D-CA), and GREG WALDEN (R-OR).
The bill would consolidate eight separate reports the COMMISSION must make to Congress into one overall report. A similar bill passed Congress last year but failed to make it through the Senate.
