Former Fargo Host, Sportscaster Earl Williams Dies

Condolences to family and friends of EARL WILLIAMS, the former longtime co-host of WDAY-A/FARGO's "EARL AND DON SHOW," who died TUESDAY (2/24) of a stroke in FARGO at 79, according to the FARGO FORUM and WDAY.
Starting his career at KXGN-A/GLENDIVE, MT and working in ST. CLOUD, MN and VALLEY CITY, ND before arriving in FARGO, WILLIAMS, after a brief run at KXGO-A, hosted at WDAY alongside DON DRESSER in mornings from 1967 through 1981 and also served as announcer for NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball in 1966-1981.
He later hosted at crosstown KVOX-A until 1986, when he went to work as a tour director and public speaker.
