Former iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WKRC-A (55KRC)/CINCINNATI weekend business show host BLAKE SEYLHOUWER was found guilty of two counts of negligent assault but the jury in his case was hung on the charge of domestic violence misdemeanor, reports the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER. The charges were reduced from felonious assault; the prosecution can choose to file for a retrial on the domestic violence charge.
SEYLHOUWER was arrested last AUGUST for allegedly firing a bullet into the driveway while arguing with his wife at their home in MADEIRA, OH (NET NEWS 8/13/2014). SEYLHOUWER claimed that the shooting, which sent concrete shrapnel at wife MISTY, was an accident.
ABC affiliate WCPO-TV reports that MISTY SEYLHOUWER wrote on FACEBOOK, "Today was truly tragic. I have no idea how someone can get away with attempting to sleep with a child, and now shooting his wife. I'm beyond devastated. I find strength knowing when the stand before God in judgment words like 'knowingly' will not dictate the sentence or punishment ... I'm asking for prayers for justice and strength."
