  Condolences to family and friends of former WDEL-A/WILMINGTON, DE News and Sports Director BILL PHEIFFER, who died SATURDAY (2/28) at 90, according to the station and the WILMINGTON NEWS JOURNAL.
  PHEIFFER started in radio and TV in 1949, working at WDEL for over 30 years. He called UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE sports, the NBA's old PHILADELPHIA WARRIORS, and other sports events.
