iBiquity Extends Relationship With Hyundai, Acura For HD Radio

ACURA and HYUNDAI announced at the CHICAGO AUTO SHOW the launch of three new 2016 models that incorporate IBIQUITY's HD RADIO receivers for the first time. With the announcement of the 2016 ACURA RDX, the entire ACURA lineup will now offer HD RADIO receivers. HYUNDAI announced two models that will incorporate HD RADIO receivers bringing the total number of models to offer HD RADIO to 10. All major automotive manufacturers in the U.S. now offer HD Radio receivers.
HD RADIO technology is or will be available as a factory-installed feature from all major auto manufacturers in the U.S.
There are over 2,200 AM and FM stations broadcasting with HD Radio Technology with more than 1,500 additional digital-only FM HD2/HD3 multicast channels available.
