THE DJ CALENDAR, a new mobile application, launched today.  It is the first iPHONE 5 and iPOD TOUCH app to deliver global EDM event information to fans, while also serving as an outlet for venues to market their nightlife offerings. The app is fully compatible with APPLE's iOS 8 platform.

THE DJ CALENDAR creates a resource for the dance community. By verifying tour and festival information, it is the only one-stop mobile application to provide its members accurate, up-to-date information about events specific to EDM and DJ culture.

“We created THE DJ CALENDAR app to make life easier for fans. We wanted to make it simple for music-lovers to gather information specific to their genre of choice,” said JASON DAMSTROM, a popular L.A. DJ and founder of THE DJ CALENDAR. “Our app is about uncluttering all the information out there so you know who’s playing what nightclub or venue, and when.”

The app offers customized tools to make sure the party never has to stop. Members are provided exclusive updates on their favorite DJs and venues alongside convenient in app ticket links, giveaways and unique discounts. The app features artist, venue, and calendar browsing with the ability to customize search and sorting menus. Users are able to mark their favorites in each category, creating a quick access favorites menu.

"In our development process, we recognized that nightlife venues were lacking a universal mobile platform to promote themselves. Our strategy is to not only deliver event data based on artists, but provide a much needed outlet for nightlife venues and promoters,” concluded DAMSTROM.
