The 50th anniversary celebration of the GRATEFUL DEAD continues this summer with DEAR JERRY; CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF JERRY GARCIA, which will take place at MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION in COLUMBIA, MD, on THURSDAY MAY 14th.
This follows the announcement of the GRATEFUL DEAD "FARE THEE WELL' shows JULY 3rd, 4th and 5th at SOLDIER FIELD in CHICAGO, where tickets are reportedly going for $15k apiece (NET NEWS, 1/16).
The concert event will feature performances by: MICKEY HART, BILL KREUTZMANN's BILLY & THE KIDS, BOB WEIR, BRUCE HORNSBY, BUDDY MILLER, DAVID GRISMAN, ERIC CHURCH, JIMMY CLIFF, JORMA KAUKONEN, LOS LOBOS, MOE., O.A.R., RAILROAD EARTH,THE DISCO BISCUITS, TRAMPLED BY TURTLES, WIDESPREAD PANIC and COMMUNION, featuring PHIL LESH, STU ALLEN, GRAHAME LESH, ROSS JAMES, ALEX KOFORD and JASON CROSBY.

KEITH WORTMAN is the creator and executive producer of the show, while GRAMMY winner DON WAS will serve as music director of an all-star band backing theperformers at the taping of the show.
