Colorado Broadcasters Association Hands Out Annual Awards

The COLORADO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION handed out its annual awards at a ceremony SATURDAY night (3/7).
Among the winners, the 2014 Radio Stations of the Year included Metro Market winner LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA (soon to be ENTERCOM) Country KYGO/DENVER; Major Market winner iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KSME (96.1 KISS FM)/GREELEY-FORT COLLINS, CO; and Medium Market winner KRYSTAL BROADCASTING, INC. Triple A KYSL (KRYSTAL 93)/FRISCO, CO
On the TV side, NBC affiliate KUSA-TV (9NEWS)/DENVER, NBC affiliate KOAA-TV/PUEBLO-COLORADO SPRINGS, and TELEMUNDO affiliate KDEN-TV (TELEMUNDO DENVER)/DENVER were the Stations of the Year. The 2014 HARRY W. HOTH Award went to longtime DENVER broadcaster ED SCOTT (KOA-A, KLZ-A, KLZ-TV, KLAK-A-F) and the REX HOWELL Award went to LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA's BOB CALL.
