KSME Wins 4th Station Of The Year Award At Colorado Gala

Congratulations to iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KSME (96.1 KISS FM)/FT. COLLINS, which has been named the Major Market Radio Station of the Year for the fourth year in a row at the annual COLORADO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION AWARD (CBA) gala. The winners were announced SATURDAY night (3/7).
This is the first time any station in a Major Market Category has ever won Radio Station Of The Year four years in a row. The selection was the result of the station’s twelve total awards for outstanding programming, dedication to the community and creative promotions aired for its advertisers. KSME took home seven, including Best Community Service Campaign, On-Air Contest, Station Sponsored Community Event, Public Affairs Program (Rocky Mountain View Points), Mid Day Show (Chris Kelly), Afternoon Show (Big Rob) and Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program.
Sister station KPAW (107.9 THE BEAR) also grabbed the award for Best Sales Event or Live Remote Broadcast. The event was hosted by Country clustermate KXBG (Big Country 97.9) morning show host SCOTT JAMES.
