iHEARTMEDIA 103.3 Oldies/Adult Hits KLOU (103.3)/ST. LOUIS has announced the launch of its new morning show hosted by local radio veteran BILLY GREENWOOD and TV host JULIE TRISTAN. The new show will debut on MONDAY, MARCH 30th, and will air weekdays from 6-10a (CT).
GREENWOOD has been on the radio in ST. LOUIS, ATLANTA, PHOENIX, SAN DIEGO, LAS VEGAS, MILWAUKEE, NASHVILLE, BIRMINGHAM, ALBUQUERQUE and GREENVILLE, among his many stops. He also worked on USA NETWORK's reality show, "NASHVILLE Star," in 2004.
TRISTAN is an anchor and journalist at KSDK-TV in ST. LOUIS and host of "Show Me ST. LOUIS," nominated for a MID-AMERICA EMMY in the category “On Camera Talent: Performer/Host.” Tristan also previously spent time in radio as Executive Producer and Co-Host for the syndicated talk show “STEVE and DC,” as well as on-air positions for a number of stations.
“When you have one of iHEARTMEDIA's premiere national talents join forces with one of the area's most popular TV and radio personalities for a local morning show, you know it will be something special," said iHEARTMEDIA MIDWEST SVP Programming TONY BANKS. "BILLY and JULIE light up a room when they walk in and they will do the same in mornings on KLOU with a show that is 103.3% ST. LOUIS.”
“Both BILLY and JULIE stood out as top candidates for the KLOU MORNING HOW from the beginning, but after hearing them together I knew we’d captured lightening in a bottle," said KLOU PD DAVID ADAMS.
