David Lynch, Hal Willner Present Tribute to Allen Ginsberg's 'Howl' Concert

DEVENDRA BANHART, WILL FORTE, COURTNEY LOVE, MACY GRAY, BETH ORTON, AMY POEHLER, TIM ROBBINS, CHLOE WEBB and LUCINDA WILLIAMS are among those who'll perform at A CELEBRATION OF THE 60th ANNIVERSARY OF ALLEN GINSBERG'S HOWL, presented by DAVID LYNCH FOUNDATION's DLF LIVE and SNL producer HAL WILLNER featuring "music, words and funny people."
The one-night only, all-star event will take place at the THEATRE AT ACE HOTEL in LOS ANGELES on APRIL 7th.
WILLNER is the show’s talent curator and producer.
The show will include readings from "Howl" set to music, as well as original material from participating artists – tickets to the show officially go on sale tomorrow, go here to purchase.
DLF LIVE’s first original production of 2015, entitled “The Music of DAVID LYNCH,” featured KAREN O, MOBY, DURAN DURAN, SKY FERREIRA, THE FLAMING LIP'S WAYNE COYNE and STEVEN DROZD interpreting music and songs from throughout the director’s storied career.
Since its launch ten years ago, the DAVID LYNCH FOUNDATION has already provided scholarships to teach Transcendental Meditation to more than 300,000 at-risk youth in underserved schools, veterans with post-traumatic stress (PTS), women who are survivors of domestic violence, and homeless and incarcerated individuals.
