13 More In Congress, 2 Senators Sign On To Co-Sponsor Local Radio Freedom Act

13 more Congressional co-sponsors and two Senate co-sponsors have been added to this session's version of the Local Radio Freedom Act, the bill that would block the imposition of performance royalties on radio stations, according to the NAB.
Reps. MO BROOKS (R-AL), CORINNE BROWN (D-FL), JOHN CULBERSON (R-TX), TREY GOWDY (R-SC), GREGG HARPER (R-MS), EVAN JENKINS (R-WV), PETE OLSON (R-TX), BILL PASCRELL (D-NJ), JOE PITTS (R-PA), REID RIBBLE (R-WI), ALBIO SIRES (D-NJ), CHRIS SMITH (R-NJ), and TIM WALZ (DFL-MN) have joined the list of co-sponsors of H. Con. Res. 17, which now has 133 co-sponsors. In the Senate, Sens. JOHN BOORMAN (R-AR) and JAMES INHOFE (R-OK) have joined the sponsors of S. Con. Res. 4, bringing the total to seven co-sponsors.
