Pat St. John Exits WCBS-F With Move To West Coast

Longtime NEW YORK personality PAT ST. JOHN is leaving the snow behind -- and relocating to SAN DIEGO. That means he'll exit CBS RADIO Classic Hits WCBS-F/NEW YORK after 2 more shows, with his farewell on SUNDAY, APRIL 12th.
ST. JOHN shared with ALL ACCESS, "so wonderful to have my wonderful listeners actually know where and why I'm leaving (instead of just disappearing like what usually happens with jocks). I have so loved this station since I started in NEW YORK on APRIL 9, 1973. I make the 42 year mark, and exit 3 days later. Everything always works out for me.
"I've been told by those who know such things that for some time now, I'm the longest running jock on NEW YORK Radio. That title will have to transfer to another, though I'll still be heard in NEW YORK on the '60s on 6' on SIRIUSXM, MONDAY through FRIDAY 1-5p (ET), though it'll be 10a for me! Yes! Obviously I am not retiring -- just gotta be with my grandson CHASE.
I've been broadcasting from home for over a decade, and I will do the same at my new home.
